Each CrossFit class is one-hour and led by a passionate coach. Your coach will lead you through a warm-up, teach you all forms and techniques for movements used that day, and help you modify the workout to your abilities and goals. you just bring in the hard work!

CrossFit Coach

This is a part-time, hourly position starting at $20-/hourly rate depending on experience and certification. The CrossFit Coach reports to the Head Coach.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coach 4-8 classes weekly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized facility.
  • Attend quarterly coaches’ meetings and social events.
  • Lead group CrossFit classes according to company standards.
  • Prepare lesson plans for each class.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1+ years of CrossFit training.
  • CrossFit Level 1 required or scheduled to take CrossFit Level 1 course in the next 60-days.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to be on time to all meetings, events, and early to all classes coaching.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt logistics based on number and/or capability of athletes
  • Proficient in teaching movement progressions.
  • Capability to determine appropriate athlete intensity levels.
  • Demonstrated ability in the six criteria of effective coaching:
    • Teaching: Ability to articulate and instruct movement mechanics.
    • Seeing: Discernment of good vs. poor mechanics and identifying faults.
    • Correcting: Facilitating better mechanics using visual, verbal, and tactile cues.
    • Demonstration: Providing accurate visual examples of movements.
    • Presence and Attitude: Creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
    • Group Management: Organizing and managing classes effectively.
